Tools for Transformation
With over two decades of experience as a Wellness Educator – my work focuses on changing the way treat ourselves, each other, and how we live on this planet.
My goal is to create a space with you where shift, healing, and transformation can occur. From classes to coaching, I offer womb-to-tomb support for your life journey. My programs help improve quality of living with tools, techniques, and teachings that empower advocacy & action. Whether your goals are physical, mental/emotional, or spiritual, I’m here to help you envision the change, see success, and take that next step in transforming your world.
I want to help you foster a loving, joy-filled life – where you feel confident knowing that you can assist in bringing balance to any situation you may be facing.
As a professional wellness educator & advocate for almost 25 years, my mission is to help change the way we live on this planet by helping us change the way we treat ourselves & ultimately, other people. (Read more about my work with Creating Our Future to learn more.) Since 2002, my work has been in guiding people to look at their self-image, acknowledge inner wounds, and heal their hearts. As a trained Hospice Grief Support Volunteer, I hold space, listen, and offer support for those needing a personal connection, coach, or guide through life’s most challenging times. I am dedicated to and have been helping people heal from life’s wounds for over 20 years. Working with individuals, small groups, like-minded non-profit organizations, and the public – my programs offer physical and emotional training & support for personal development and self-advocacy.
My expertise as a master body-worker begins with the body being a temple for the soul. Skilled in various modalities of bodywork and massage (Thai Yoga, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofacial Release, and Reflexology), I am able to help my clients relieve and release deep-rooted patterns that lead to distress, chronic issues, and even injury. My unique approach goes deep to address your needs and soothe your nervous system. Begin your wellness journey with a bodywork session or connect with me for an upcoming class or course! However you choose to come on board, I’ll be here to guide you with structured experiential learning, in-person and online practices, and continuing education & coaching.
As a Yoga Alliance Continuing Ed Provider, I am passionate about leading classes, workshops, and experiential offerings that share yogic tradition & technology. My classes help develop a strong physical practice firmly rooted in the Hatha Yoga tradition. My foundation as a teacher is in Integrative Yoga Therapy, and as an athletic yogi in Virya (Power) Yoga Teacher. As a credentialed and dedicated Kundalini Yoga Teacher, I will support your inner journey as well.
I work with children, youth, and adults on every level – enthusiastically engaging all levels of practitioners. As a certified Radiant Child Yoga Teacher and Yoga for Youth Ally & Advocate, I not only introduce our youth to yoga, I also use it to help our youth recover from trauma & tribulation and to advocate for themselves & others.
You can find me at Cotati Moves Studio in Sonoma County, CA – where I am proud to be connecting & coordinating local wellness workers and movement masters. As Directing Manager, I work hard to help new & established professionals develop their passion projects and create a community of their own. Interested leaders may contact us at cotatimoves@gmail.com for a meet & greet interview.
Having joined the advisory board at the Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC), my goal is to ensure YwN is a long-standing resource within the community – with classes, internships, and programming specifically for our student & youth populations. Offering continuing education classes that qualify for Yoga Alliance – our programs ensure your professional certifications are up-to-date with interesting online & in-person opportunities for learning.
Our kids programming has become quite popular and is currently offered as after-school care and/or summertime programming at several local schools. Catering to ages 5-12, our classes incorporate yoga principles, posture, and practice into a fun & continuously evolving learning experience. Our classes incorporate song, dance, games, and creative exploration to keep the learning experience fun & engaging.
