Nicole Ward MacDonald

With over 20 years experience in Wellness Education, my work focuses on empowering your personal path through caring, connection, & community. My goal is to create a space with you where shift, healing, and transformation can occur. I want to help you foster a loving, joy-filled life – where you feel confident knowing that you can assist in bringing balance to any situation you may be facing.

Wellness Educator

As a professional wellness educator & advocate for almost 25 years, my mission is to help change the way we live on this planet by helping us change the way we treat ourselves & ultimately, other people. (Read more about my work with Creating Our Future to learn more.) Since 2002, my work has been in guiding people to look at their self-image, acknowledge inner wounds, and heal their hearts. As a trained Hospice Grief Support Volunteer, I hold space, listen, and offer support for those needing a personal connection, coach, or guide through life’s most challenging times. As a Self Worth & Healing Wounds Lead Trainer, I am dedicated to and have been helping people heal from life’s wounds for over 20 years.

Yoga Teacher Trainer

As a Yoga Alliance Continuing Ed Provider, I am passionate about leading classes, workshops, and experiential offerings that share yogic tradition & technology. My foundation as a teacher is in Integrative Yoga Therapy, and as an athletic yogi and Virya (Power) Yoga Teacher, my classes help develop a strong physical practice firmly rooted in the Hatha Yoga tradition. And as a dedicated Kundalini Yoga Teacher, I will support your inner journey as well. I work with children, youth, and adults on every level – enthusiastically engaging all levels of practitioners. And as a certified Radiant Child Yoga Teacher and Yoga for Youth Ally & Advocate, I not only introduce our youth to yoga, I also use it to help our youth recover from trauma & tribulation and to advocate for themselves & others.

Cotati Moves Studio Director

You can find me at Cotati Moves Studio in Sonoma County, CA – where I am proud to be connecting & coordinating wellness workers and movement masters as Directing Manager. Having joined the advisory board at the Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC), my goal here is to ensure our studio is a long-standing resource within the community – with classes, internships, and programming specifically for our students & youth populations.
